There’s something so magical about late fall — the quiet woods, the soft light, and the way everything feels calm and expectant. Photographing a little mini session for my sweet friend Rachel was such an honor. She moved barefoot over the rocks, surrounded by the last whisper of autumn.

Rachel wanted something lighthearted and playful this go ’round, so we brought out the paint and let her kiddos take the lead, turning her baby bump into a little canvas for the whole family. It was a celebration of motherhood, creativity, and the beautiful chaos of family life.

Centennial Park is such a staple in the Nashville landscape, and I loved playing with lines and light at the Parthenon and capturing the blooms so rich in color at the Sunken Gardens.

A roaming cow, a dusting of snow, and most importantly, two joyful humans with their favorite furry friends. I feel so grateful to be able to do what I love, freezing moments in time for families like this one.

A few November’s ago, I had the honor of capturing the sweet Moore family, as they were expecting to welcome their second little boy soon. The Moore’s soaked up their time as a family of 3 (soon to be 4) and little Ollie took in the magic of the nature around him.
