There’s something so magical about late fall — the quiet woods, the soft light, and the way everything feels calm and expectant. Photographing a little mini session for my sweet friend Rachel was such an honor. She moved barefoot over the rocks, surrounded by the last whisper of autumn.

There’s something special about eloping in Nashville, especially at Centennial Park. With the Parthenon as its centerpiece and gardens that come alive in the Spring, it’s one of my favorite places to photograph couples who want something both iconic and romantic. This season, I had the joy of photographing Aggie and Sam’s elopement here, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day.

Rachel wanted something lighthearted and playful this go ’round, so we brought out the paint and let her kiddos take the lead, turning her baby bump into a little canvas for the whole family. It was a celebration of motherhood, creativity, and the beautiful chaos of family life.

Centennial Park is such a staple in the Nashville landscape, and I loved playing with lines and light at the Parthenon and capturing the blooms so rich in color at the Sunken Gardens.
