Summer may have come to an end, but Shelby & Alex’s wedding is still on my mind. This beautiful June wedding at Yew Dell Gardens was by far one of the hottest days I’ve photographed but also one of the sweetest. Shelby’s Dad passed away after a long battle with cancer just two months prior to their wedding, so the day was emotional for everyone. As Shelby’s mom walked her down the aisle, there were lots of tears as her Dad smiled from above. 

A few of my favorite parts of their special day:

• Their colorful confetti ceremony exit
• Outdoor EVERYTHING with gardens and natural light 
• The wildflower field right behind the castle 
• Alex telling me how much he loves Shelby’s fire-y spirit.
