These two Kentuckians know how to throw a party! It was so fun getting to know Megan and Spencer throughout their engagement – we popped lots of bottles of champagne in our time together (keep scrolling and click here to see their engagement session as proof). We met them in Lexington to photograph their engagement last September and then travelled to Owensboro for their unforgettable wedding celebration this June. Check out all of the fun and unique touches they incorporated into their wedding. Megan’s attention to detail was (and is) truly amazing!

Megan gave her Mom a Women Warriors bracelet from Stella Valle. It was such a sweet moment witnessing Beth’s reaction.

Megan attached a photo of her great grandmother to her bouquet. She mentioned to me before their wedding day that she was very special to her and that she couldn’t walk down the aisle without her.

The most beautiful Kentucky sunset graced us. I love when I’m able to photograph portraits at sunset on wedding days (even though it’s not always possible). The golden light highlights the bride and groom so well.
