Hey there! Maybe you’re new around here or maybe you’ve been following for a while. Either way, I wanted to take a minute to introduce the face(s) behind Sarah Nichole Photography.

Sarah Nichole Photography

I’m Sarah, the owner and creator of this little photography business that is my heart and soul. I’m a wedding, elopement, and lifestyle photographer who believes in capturing love and life nostalgically.

Learning photography at age 16 in a high school darkroom in Indiana, the first camera I owned was a Canon A-1 film camera (we still have that camera to this day and shoot personal work on it). I moved to Nashville, Tennessee where I attended college at Belmont University, with the original intent to pursue a music career. Fast forward a couple of years, after many conversations with friends and family, a few changes of my major (who really sticks with the same major picked Freshman year anyways?) and some true soul searching, I joined the Entrepreneurship program. After picking up my camera and falling in love with the art of photography again, I made it official and began shooting weddings in May of 2016, and  graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship 2 years later, in December of 2016. I’ve photographed exactly 50 weddings since.

I’m married to my college sweetheart, Robert. He’s the goofiest, most encouraging man I know. Robert is my assistant photographer, and he’s assisted me at 48 out of the 50 weddings we’ve shot. He’s my right hand man on wedding days, my gear guru, and most of all, best friend. Together, we believe that photography is an outlet that we can utilize to document people in an authentic and joyful way. It’s a core principle of our relationship and business that when each person is the most honest version of themselves, that’s when their beauty shines. We want to capture that.

Thanks for taking a moment to get to know us. We’d love to get the chance to hear more about you and why you’re here. Come say hi!
